A simple SWOT-analysis of a delivery company

In today's competitive environment to enhance the effectiveness of the delivery companies we need to wisely choose a strategic direction for its development. The effective tool for these purposes is to create a SWOT-analysis, ie: comparison of the strengths, weaknesses of, opportunities and threats.

It should specify that the strengths and weaknesses are due to internal factors, while opportunities and threats are external. Thus, we distinguish the main strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to the company's sale and delivery of spare parts. Strengths: the existence of its own service center, qualified personnel, dealership agreements with major suppliers, dynamic sales team.

Weaknesses: The periodic shortage of working capital for the purchase required vehicles and services, problems with the quality of purchased products and services, the low level of support and database analysis of the company.

Features: unsaturated UK market offers unlimited opportunities for growth, the economic situation is gradually stabilizing, and more and more people search for a reliable delivery company.

Threats: high competition, changes in customs procedures, the constant increase in charges and payments.

Comparing these strengths, weaknesses, companies, opportunities and threats that can draw the following conclusions: the situation in the UK market quite volatile, but the company's activities for the sale of spare parts is profitable because of established links with suppliers.
